If you thought you could discover the new opus of Doctor Strange without going through the Disney + box, you will probably have to review your plans.
The MCU feels less like a cinematic universe and more like an expansive series. If in their beginnings the Marvel films were more or less independent of each other, with the exception of the Avengers, things get tougher with the arrival of Disney+.

“It was really exciting. We found that we didn’t need to spend a lot of time recapping the rules, we felt the audience would understand a lot now. With Michael, we could jump into telling a good story in what is already established.”
Understanding all the ins and outs of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was already a challenge for viewers who don’t follow every movie in the genre with a passion.
