This system is directly based on Debian, but it has a very light user interface similar to what we can find in Windows. Therefore, any user who is going to start with it will have no problem getting used to it. It has a sleek and efficient design, and a good number of programs to get you started.
If you want something even more like Windows, another excellent option we found is EndeavourOS. It is a lightweight Linux that has a taskbar, menus, and windows very similar to those of Windows 7. Therefore, whether out of habit or nostalgia, it is another excellent option to try.
Finally, within this category, how could it be otherwise, we have to talk about Linux Mint. This system uses Ubuntu as a base, but it changes everything that is wrong (which is not little) in the Canonical distro to create a very light, simple and efficient system that everyone will want to have on their PC. Linux for advanced users
If we already have some experience in this operating system, but we want a much more pure and efficient system, there are also distros, more popular than Ubuntu, that we can choose. The first of these is Pop!_OS. This system is not particularly complicated to use, but it has been designed with minimalism in mind. Therefore, some users may find themselves in trouble. It is a very simple and light distro, without unnecessary content, perfect for those who want to work without distractions.
Second, we find Manjaro Linux. This distro is based on one of the best, and most complicated, that we can use, Arch Linux, but it aims to make it simple and accessible for everyone. It is a system that will work perfectly for us, but that already requires a certain degree of knowledge to avoid having problems. If we master it, we will have Linux forever.
Finally, let’s talk about Fedora. This is one of the best distros for both home and professional use, an excellent system with an infinite number of customization options that, if we are already experienced in Linux, is worth giving a try.
