Epson introduces two new SureColor textile printers

There is no doubt that Epson is one of the most important players in the dye-sublimation printer sector, and to maintain this position the Japanese company has confirmed a major catalog renewal focused on two new SureColor printers, the SureColor SC-F6400 4-color and SureColor SC-F6400H 6-colorspecialized in small and medium printing cycles.

Both printers are based on the Epson PrecisionCore Micro TFP technology, which has been designed to offer superior image quality. These new printers have been designed to adapt without problems to the needs of each user, and offer an interesting value as long as we move within the printing margins that we have indicated (low and medium loads).

The SC-F6400 can increase productivity by 20% compared to its predecessor, the SC-F6300. The SC-F6400H expands the CMYK color gamut, adding fluorescent pink and yellow, light cyan and light magenta, or orange and violet. The SC-F6400H is the Epson’s first 44-inch 6-color dye sublimation printer, and this opens the door to a wider range of applications for both rigid and textile materials. This is a high-value improvement aimed at the production of fashion, home textiles, sportswear, flexible signage and promotional items.

The SC-F6400 and SC-F6400H also offer other exciting benefits for professional users, such as new high-capacity ink packs with 45% more ink (1.6 L), which reduce maintenance and the amount of materials to be recycled. The user experience has also been simplified as ink packs are now simply shaken and inserted to insert, there is no need to pour out the ink or turn the packs upside down, which prevents spills.

Both printers include a new 4.3-inch touchscreen, which means it’s 30% larger than the previous model. Downtime is reduced to a minimum thanks to the simplification of maintenance routines and the included software, which allows you to analyze costs and helps improve the profitability of each project. The SC-F6400H also incorporates a take-up roller.
