Less than three weeks from the presentation of the Galaxy S23, we are finally entitled to the first official images of one of the smartphones, the smallest model in the series.
As usual, Roland Quandt, from WinFuture, has just uploaded several images of the Galaxy S23 in several colors. The leaker claims that these come directly from Samsung itselfand therefore these are official images, unlike all the renders we have previously.
As these are fromquite poor quality, the images do not appear to be taken from stolen files, but were likely spotted on one of Samsung’s sites. Anyway, we are now certain that Samsung is preparing to change the design of its S23 and S23+ smartphones, especially at the level of the photo module at the back. The latter is now made up of three individual islands for each photo sensor, which completely eliminates the camera bump.
The S23 is revealed in several colors
Roland Quandt confirms previous reports by announcing that the four colors that will be available for these Galaxy S23 are: “Phantom Black” (black), “Botanic Green” (green), “Mystic Lilac” (pink/purple) and “Cotton Flower” (white). On the image below, you can also have a good overview of all the colors.
The Galaxy S23 + and S23 Ultra will be entitled to the same colors, but it should be noted that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will also benefit from exclusive colors on the Samsung site: gray, light blue, light green and red.
Roland Quandt also announces that the Galaxy S23 is now made with a metal frame and glass on the front part. The edges are slightly curved for a better grip, unlike Apple which offers a flat frame on its latest generation iPhones.
He notes that the material used is probably of high quality aluminum, which will be good news since some previous models were made of plastic. This is perhaps why Samsung would consider raising the prices of all models this year.
Anyway, we should know everything about the Galaxy S23 in the next few days, since the official presentation is fast approaching. As a reminder, this will take place on February 1st.
