Have you got the money ready for the AMD RX 6600 XT? Enter and choose model –

If you need a graphics card to play next generation Full HD games then the AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT is a good choice, but there are so many models with the name Radeon RX 6600 XT, equipped with the AMD Navi 23 GPU, which is difficult to make a choice. Although all models start from common technical specifications given by AMD, some differ in points on the type of cooling or clock speeds.

General characteristics of the RX 6600 XT Custom graphics cards

AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT

All of them have like Main GPU the AMD Navi 23, which is based on the RDNA 2 architecture with 32 Compute Units, a 2359 MHz Game Clock and a 128-bit GDDR6 memory bus with a 256GB / s bandwidth that communicates to the GPU with 8 GB of VRAM. These are graphics cards designed to play the most advanced games at 1080p, although with the help of the AMD FSR it is possible to play them on monitors at 1440p.

All custom models of the RX 6600 XT start from these base specifications and also have full support for DirectX 12 Ultimate, by having hardware support for Mesh Shaders, Ray Tracing, Variable Rate Shading as well as support for DirectStorage. These technologies are key in the most advanced games on the market and those to come.

All models officially go on sale the same day, next August 11.

GIGABYTE Radeon RX 6600 XT custom graphics cards

GIGABYTE RX 6600 XT

In the case of GIGABYTE we have three custom models of graphics cards within its Radeon RX 6600 XT range. Which are the GIGABYTE Radeon RX 6600 XT GAMING OC PRO 8 GB, GIGABYTE Radeon RX 6600 XT GAMING OC 8 GB and the GIGABYTE Radeon RX 6600 XT EAGLE 8 GB. The biggest difference is found within the range is in the EAGLE model, which uses graphene nano lubricant, allowing you to achieve higher clock speeds, apart from being

All models come equipped with three GIGABYTE WINDFORCE fans for cooling, which rotate alternately with respect to each other and make use of triangular-shaped blades. With the central fan rotating in the opposite direction to the two fans at the ends. All this combined with a copper heat sink in contact with the GPU to keep it as cool as possible. Regarding their video outputs, all models have two HDMI 2.1 ports with VRR support and two DisplayPort 1.4 ports.

At this time we do not have information on the clock speeds and prices of these GIGABYTE graphics card models.

ASUS RX 6600 XT Family

In the case of ASUS, the models introduced are the ASUS ROG Strix AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT and the ASUS Dual AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT, both are models of double fan with four heatpipes and a large base plate to help keep heat away from the GPU and VRAM. The two fans use ASUS Axial Tech technology, which is designed to circulate the air without making excessive noise.

In addition, both models have the classics two graphics BIOS modes, in the performance mode ASUS RX 6600 XT custom models will be able to run at the highest possible clock speed while supporting overclocking. In the Silent mode the fans stop completely when the GPU is not in use, generating 0 dB of noise. In addition, the ASUS ROG Strix RX 6600 XT has RGB support and is compatible with AuraSync.

Custom models by MSI

MSI RX 6600 XT Custom

Like ASUS from MSI they have presented two new graphics cards for their RX 6600 XT family of custom graphics cards. The first one is the MSI AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT GAMING X, which makes use of the now classic technology for refrigeration TWIN FROZR 8. A dual fan system of the type TORX FAN 4.0 combined with a heatsink of aerodynamic shapes to keep the graphics as fresh as possible. The other model is the MSI AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT MECH 2X, also with a double fan, but we do not know what elements differentiate it from the other model and for the moment the data is scarce.

Both models have a standard model and an OC model with a higher clock speed, but they are all intended to work on an 8-pin connector. We do not yet know the clock speeds of the different models and the only specification where they differ is in the measurements. Since the RX 6600 XT Gaming X measures 277mm long, while the RX 6600 XT MECH 2X are shorter and measure 235mm long.

As for its video outputs, we have 3 DisplayPort 1.4 ports and an HDMI 2.1 port with VRR support.

PowerColor custom models

At the moment we know little about the two custom models of the RX 6600 XT that PowerColor will launch on the market, which will be the models Hellhound Y Red devil. And it seems that the Hellhound model is the one that has the most changes, although it is still a totally black model with blue lighting. Its blank counterpart? It hasn’t been announced, but let’s hope they do.

As for the Red Devil, in PowerColor they have decided to follow a different path than the RX 6700 XT and at first glance it seems that the cooling system is different as it is the thinnest graphics card and supports only two fans. As with the rest of the models that we have been showing you, we have not yet received all the complete information and we will update it as the manufacturers reveal it.
