The Clockology Trick
Clockology is an application available in the App Store that is responsible for displaying very striking functional spheres with which to change the appearance of your Apple Watch. The problem is that they are not native spheres that remain fixed at all times as the main screen of your watch. That is to say, the moment you press the crown, this sphere will disappear and you will see the one you have by default on your Apple Watch again, but with certain adjustments you can get it to act almost like a native one.
How to install Clockology on Apple Watch
Its installation is quite simple, since you only have to install the application on your iPhone and select the activation of the new application on your watch in the Watch application. To do this do the following:
- Install Clockology on your iPhone.
- Go to the Watch app.
- Go down to the list of Available Apps.
- Select Install Clockology.
You’ll already have the app installed on your watch, but we’re not done yet. The following steps are very important, as they will determine how the new spheres will work. Do the following:
- On iPhone, go to the Watch app.
- Enter General.
- Select the option back to the clock.
- And select the optionafter 1 hour”.
This configuration is in charge of telling the watch that when you have an application open, it does not put it to sleep for another hour. That is, until 60 minutes have passed, the clock will not automatically return to the main screen (the default sphere that you have configured).
How to install new spheres
Now that you have understood that what you will have is an application open at all times doing the clock functions, it is your turn to install the spheres that you want to have. To do this you will have to do the following:
- Go into the Clockology app on your iPhone.
- Browse through some example spheres and select the one you like best.
- Click on it send to apple watch icon.
- Open the Clockcology app on your Apple Watch so you can receive the new face.
You will now have installed your first sphere. The only thing that you will have to avoid is pressing the crown, or else you will return to the main menu of the watch and the dial that you always had by default will appear. Once you want to have your personalized face again, you will only have to open clockcology again.
