It must be taken into account that this is a measure approved at the end of last year 2022 and that millions of families in our country are expected to take advantage of it. To give us an idea, it is estimated that more than four million families they will be able to benefit from this government aid focused on feeding all those who need it. Obviously, for the application to be accepted, we must meet a series of prerequisites.
It should be noted that in order to pass the filter and to be eligible for this aid, first of all, it is worth mentioning that it is aimed at salaried, self-employed or unemployed. Of course, these cannot be receiving other benefits in parallel. At the same time we must bear in mind that to request this benefit the full income received must be less than 27,000 euros per year.
On the other hand, we cannot have assets greater than 75,000 euros. Of course, in this case it is important to take into account that the habitual residence is excluded from it. Another important section that must be met is that, in order to be entitled to those 200 euros of help, we must have habitual residence in Spain.
Check if you have been granted the aid of 200 euros
If you have requested this aid of 200 euros for food a few days ago, you will already know that Social Security enabled a specific website for it. Well, in the event that you have doubts about whether or not they have granted it to you, now you can consult it in a simple way. To say that this is something that we can carry out from the same web page that we mentioned before and in which we did the application.
Now we are going to click on the link that says Consultation of the application for the PREVIOUS help of 200 euros presented. Here we will have to identify ourselves again, either through a digital certificate, the electronic ID or by the Cl@ve system. At that moment, a form will appear on the screen with part of the data that we provided at the time. Well then, to make the query that interests us, in this case, we click on the selector that says Show requests in unsubscribed status, which will be deactivated by default. Next, we click on the Search button that we see a little below.
Now we only have to take a look at the Status field at the bottom of the interface that is presented. Here we will see our request for help and if in this field we see that it says high, is that the application is currently being processed and we will have to wait for the resolution of the aid. Otherwise we will see the term Lowwhich means that we were denied.
However, it may also be the case that the request status receive 0A, in which case we already know that the Tax Agency has finally accepted our application. Therefore, if we are eligible to receive this benefit, now all we have to do is wait for it to start being sent from March 31, 2023.
