Logitech’s RightSight 2 platform is presented as a solution that seeks to improve and facilitate the holding of hybrid meetings while also maintaining a strong focus on achieving a more equitable experience for workers who join the meeting remotely, preventing them from feeling uncomfortable.
According to Logitech, this new platform simultaneously offers a close view of the speaker and another of the entire meeting room used during a video call. RightSight 2 automatic framing technology allows remote participants to follow the speaker while seeing the situational context of the group, and all the actions that group members take.
Logitech has also confirmed that RightSight 2 uses Speaker View, a new mode based on the two-camera system in Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini that is capable of seamlessly rendering a picture-in-picture view of the person speaking and the entire group. The active speaker is framed using the main camera that pans and zooms seamlessly as the speaker changes, while the wide-angle AI viewer frames the room, ensuring remote participants can see and hear all the speakers. exchanges of the meetings, and that they enjoy an experience very similar to the one they would have if they were physically in that meeting.
The goal of this new Logitech platform is, as you probably guessed after reading the previous paragraph, to make it possible for participants who join remotely to enjoy an experience close to what they would have if they were present in that meeting physically.
