Mini LED, G-SYNC Ultimate and 300Hz: New ViewSonic ELITE Monitors

It seems that, in recent times, monitors powered by Mini LED technology are (and will be if everything continues as it seems) the order of the day, and precisely to update its catalog with this technology, the manufacturer ViewSonic has announced the launch of three new monitors, all of them within its ELITE Gaming product family that, as its name suggests, is focused on gamers. Below we will tell you everything about these three new models.

In reality, the three monitors that ViewSonic has presented are quite similar in terms of design (since they are part of the same product family), although it is true that both the format and their technical specifications vary, and a lot. Thus, we have models between 27 and 34 inches, with a “standard” 16: 9 format and UltraWide (21: 9), and with different technologies that, as we have denoted in the headline of this news, include technology G-SYNC Ultimate from NVIDIA and there is even a model with nothing less than 300 Hz refresh rate. Let’s see them.

Mini LED technology comes to ViewSonic ELITE monitors

ELITE ViewSonic

All three models have, as we anticipated at the beginning, Mini LED technology, and this is in fact the main novelty. This has allowed the manufacturer to integrate panels with up to 1,152 independent lighting zones that, in addition, have local dimming technology throughout the matrix (known as Full array Local Dimming, or FALD) in order to provide the maximum contrast between the brightest whites and the darkest blacks. This allows gamers to experience optimized visual performance even in the most demanding games.

“In the gaming ecosystem, image quality is a fundamental aspect” .- said Oscar Lin, general manager of ViewSonic’s monitors division. “As gamers demand the best of the best in color accuracy and brightness, our ELITE Mini LED monitors exceed all expectations in today’s gaming scenarios, offering an ideal solution and innovative technology.”

Of the three models, it should be noted that the ELITE XG272G-2K and the ELITE XG321UG incorporate the innovative technology NVIDIA Reflex Analyzer, which allows you to measure and reduce the latency between when the player clicks the mouse and its effect is seen on the screen.
