The fintech, how muchhas sealed an alliance with founderzthe online business school, created by Catalan entrepreneurs, Pau Garcia-Milà and Anna Cejudo. The objective of both startups is to offer training to future entrepreneurs through a 100% online master’s degree on Business & Entrepreneurship.

The agreement between Qonto and Founderz comes at a time when interest in creating new business projects is on the rise. According to the latest analysis addressed by semrush, the term “entrepreneurship” has registered an average of 9,000 searches in 2022. Among the main words that have been searched on Google in relation to the term are “how to start a business”, “ideas to start a business”, “training to start a business” or “requirements to open a business in Spain”. Specifically, this last combination of words has experienced a growth of 967%.

As explained Carlos MarcosCountry Manager of Qonto Spain: “Fortunately, after five consecutive months of year-on-year declines in the number of company creations, in November we learned through the INE that the number of new mercantile companies increased by 3.3% in September compared to the same month in 2021, to add a total of 6,838. Faced with this situation and with the aim of further increasing this number, we believed it vital to offer a program hand in hand with a reference partner, who can solve all the questions that a future entrepreneur may have and, above all, support and guide him from the start. I start with a solid foundation.”

To Pau Garcia-MilaCEO and Founder of Founderz: “Embarking on this project hand in hand with Qonto, a neobank whose mission has always been to facilitate the day-to-day life of entrepreneurs and SMEs, is a pleasure. There is no doubt about the strength that the entrepreneurial ecosystem has in Spain and being able to contribute with quality guidance with successful professionals and leaders in the sector is really motivating”.
