Samsung will increase the prices of all its tablets in France

The launch of the Galaxy Tab S9 is fast approaching. Tablets would unfortunately be accompanied by a price increase for all models, and the increase should be quite significant.

Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra

Bad news for fans of Samsung tablets, the Korean giant would plan to increase the prices of all the new models of the Tab S9 series, which will be released this summer alongside the Galaxy Watch 6, but especially the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5. Indeed, according to information from SamInsider, which had already revealed the exact prices of the Galaxy A14 and Galaxy S21 FE, the next tablets will suffer a price increase.

This news is ultimately not really a surprise, Samsung having already increased the prices of its Galaxy S23 at the beginning of the year. As was the case with its smartphones, price increases on tablets should not go unnoticed either, sincewe are talking about more than a hundred extra euros on each version.

What prices for the Galaxy S9, S9+ and S9+ Ultra?

According to SamInsider, who managed to dig up this information from a well-known retailer’s database, the Galaxy Tab S9 will be marketed from 929 euros in Europe for the Wi-Fi version. This is considerably more than the 769 euros requested for the Galaxy Tab S8. The version with 256 GB of storage will be sold at 1049 euros, against 819 euros previously. This difference is explained by the inclusion of 12 GB of RAM (against 8 on the 128 GB model), but above all by a new OLED screen, replacing the old LCD screen.

As for the Galaxy Tab S9 +, we can expect a price of 1149 euros for the version with 256 GB of storage and 12 GB of RAM, again a sharp increase compared to the 1059 euros of the previous model. Finally, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra would come out at no less than 1369 euros with 256 GB of storage, against 1319 euros for the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.

TAll models therefore do not suffer an equivalent price increase, the Ultra model should not trade its OLED screen for another technology. Note that these rates will be applied in Europe, but may vary slightly from one country to another depending on taxes.
