MuyPymes: What differences have you found between this position and the previous one in the company you co-founded?

Sergio Ruiz: A more strategic and global vision of the company’s growth. More focused on the search for opportunities in new markets and creating new levers for growth that make, if not already done, the Signaturit Group a European benchmark for electronic signatures and digital identity.

MuyPymes: Do you think that the digital signature still has a long way to go in the Spanish ecosystem of SMEs?

Sergio Ruiz: It hasn’t started yet. The SME ecosystem is the greatest growth opportunity for our Group and not only in Spain but also in Europe.

There is still a long way to go to help SMEs in their digital transformation and modernization of processes. Our product does not understand sectors or markets, it is a global product in which SMEs play an essential role. Clearly, in the coming years, our Group will focus on responding to the demand of SMEs in terms of electronic signatures and digital identity.

MuyPymes: Where is this technology going?

Sergio Ruiz: Our technology is aimed at entering business processes and at the heart of SMEs and companies. The electronic signature is no longer just the last part of the commercial relationship, but the Signaturit Group generates value, from start to finish in each of the steps and processes of the products it offers.

There is no doubt that there is still a lot of work to be done and many SMEs to help, for this reason, from the Signaturit Group we are committed and focusing our objective on achieving it.

MuyPymes: You were among the first to see the potential of this technology, at a Spanish level. What advantages has this vision given you?

Sergio Ruiz: when my partner Jaime Castello and I founded IVNOSYS, a company that is part of the Signaturit Group, we realized that what the Americans call pure software companyFor this reason, we decided to create different technologies that would be the European reference.

And, in this way, based on the generation of value and construction of digital identity and electronic signature software, we have created our product that, currently, is a competitive advantage for many companies.
