Shuttle introduces the compact XPC Slim DH670 with Intel Alder Lake CPU

The Shuttle DH670 is the latest addition to the catalog of compact computers from this firm specializing in mini-PCs, with a hardware base that is committed to the latest Intel processors.

The Shuttle XPC Slim DH670 is a compact only 1.3 liters volume with dimensions of 19 x 16 x 4 cm. It has a special ventilation system, with a heat pipe and a “smart” fan that promises constant air circulation between the inside and outside of the machine and thus keep temperatures under control and a low noise level.

The key to this mini-PC is a motherboard with an Intel H670 chipset that allows the installation of twelfth-generation Alder Lake processors, with hybrid architecture, 10nm processes and 65 watts of TDP, with models up to 16 cores and 24 threads. It includes the new Iris Xe integrated graphics that allows the compact to feed content to four screens with 4K resolution.

It has two SODIMM slots to install up to 64GB of memory DDR4-3200 RAM. For internal storage, it has an M.2 2280 slot for mounting PCIe 4.0 x4 solid state drives and a 2.5-inch bay for installing SSDs or SATA hard drives.

Shuttle introduces the compact XPC Slim DH670 with Intel Alder Lake 31 CPU

The Shuttle DH670 can work with operating systems Windows 11, Windows 10 and Linux, and comes with a three-year warranty. The manufacturer says it will be available immediately in the international channel for consumer or office computing desktops, digital signage, kiosks or other environments running graphics- and text-intensive applications. The first retailers to have it for sale have set a price of $568.
