After talking a lot about him and rubbing our hands with his specifications, we finally have an exact date (and even an hour) to write down on the agenda. Nothing He has confirmed when we will be able to officially meet his new phone and has even already set up the website where the coming-out event will be broadcast. Take note of it.
Nothing Phone (2), all we know
As is often the case on other occasions, we have a fairly approximate profile of what the company’s next phone will be like. Between leaks from quite reliable sources and the confessions of its CEO and founder, Carl Pei, we have been able to make a fairly complete file of everything we hope to see in the firm’s new smartphone.
We thus have confirmation that the team will mount a processor Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (something to be expected on the other hand, since its predecessor had a Snapdragon 778G+) and that its battery takes a step forward, going from the 4,500 mAh of the first generation to the 4,700mAh. This small jump can mean a quite notable change in autonomy if we take into account the aforementioned chip change, now more efficient and therefore capable of managing resources better than before.
We look forward to seeing you sporting a display AMOLED with soda to 120hz and adaptive function according to the type of content displayed on the screen. We still do not have information about its cameras (possibly one of the elements that always generates the most interest) but at least we do hope that at the configuration level a version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage will be offered -since it was already offered in the previous model.
What you have to get rid of the idea from your head is that the Nothing Phone (2) will be something revolutionary at the level of design. Its managers have already confirmed that it will look very similar to that of the first generation, so we hope that this particular transparent casing, full of LEDs and that caught our attention, will be repeated, undoubtedly becoming the hallmark of the phone when it was announced.
When does it show up?
The people of Nothing have confirmed that the phone will be released in the month of July. It was the month that we all considered, but now it is official, marking the day eleven as the one chosen for his coming-out. Presentation time will be five pm -Spanish hours-, so you can write it down in the diary so you don’t miss it.
Nothing has already opened a website for the event where you can follow the press conference, although you can also enjoy it through its YouTube channel.
He price, yes, it is still a mystery and it will be until it sees the light on the aforementioned July 11. The Phone (1) currently has a tag of 469 euros in its most basic configuration (8 + 128 GB), so between inflation and other stories, we should expect a somewhat more expensive launch for this second generation. Hopefully we are wrong.
