These are the most popular graphics cards for gaming in 2023

The NVIDIA RTX 40 Series have reached the market with a high price, being an inaccessible product for many users. This factor makes the user look for similar cheaper solutions. These solutions are “old” models that have been on the market for a while and are still excellent solutions.

What are the best-selling graphics cards of the moment?

We can see on various sites that the best-selling models are the NVIDIA RTX 30 Series and AMD RX 6000 Series. The only new generation graphics card released that is easy to sell is the RTX 4060 Ti. We don’t see any Radeon 7000 Series solutions among the best sellers, something that is striking, since they are very good products.

NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti 8GB

It is not a surprise that this component is currently the best seller. NVIDIA’s mid-range is characterized by offering good performance at a fairly reasonable price. Also, since it is an “old” model, the price has dropped and it is much more attractive than when it was launched.

It is a very good graphics card that is focused on gaming in 1080p resolution. It offers us the ability to play with ray tracing and we also have access to DLSS.

Currently we can find it between 350-450 euros, when initially it was impossible to see them below 500 euros. We leave you some interesting models at a good price:

NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti 8GB

AMD Radeon RX 6600 8GB

1080p resolution is clearly the most common among gamers. Not only does Steam give us this data, but also the best-selling graphics cards at the moment. This is the second most sold and, as we can see, it is focused on the graphic quality that we have commented on.

We will not have access to ray tracing, but to AMD FSR upscaling technology. The truth is that Ray Tracing has not finished having interest from users. While it’s great technology, it consumes a brutal amount of resources and is a huge performance drain.

It was launched on the market for between 350-500 euros, but now we can buy it for between 200-250 euros. Some interesting models are:

AMD Radeon RX 6600 8GB

NVIDIA RTX 3060 12GB

We have the RTX 3060 Ti as the best seller, but the third best seller currently is its little sister. It is a slightly less powerful graphics card and the prices are quite similar. It makes the user, by price, bet on acquiring the model that gives him a little extra performance.

It offers us support, like any RTX model, for Ray Tracing and DLSS technology. Although it is focused on 1080p gaming, having 12 GB of VRAM we could play in 1440p resolution. We still have to make some adjustments, depending on the game, to enjoy it in this graphic quality.

I hit the market with a price between 400-600 euros, but currently it is already below 400 euros. This is due to the arrival of the new generation of graphics cards. The following models have caught our attention:

NVIDIA RTX 3060 12GB

AMD Radeon RX 6400 4GB

It is quite surprising that this graphics card is currently among the best-selling models. It is a very limited graphics card due to the amount of VRAM memory. We will be able to move games like GTA V, LoL, Fornite or CS:GO in 1080p, but it is very difficult to move titles like Death Stranding or Cyberpunk 2077, among others.

When it was released, it raised a lot of questions due to memory limitation. It sold a bit as it was a low-key, inexpensive gaming graphics card for gamers. It was also indicated that the limitation was given by Ethereum mining at that time, which required a minimum of 6 GB of VRAM.

It was launched at the beginning of 2022 for around 200 euros or so. Currently, we can find it for less than 150 euros and, also, in mini-ITX format. These are the most interesting models:

AMD Radeon RX 6400 4GB

NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super 6GB

One of the best-selling solutions, undoubtedly due to its attractive price and power, is this NVIDIA model. It is the last graphics card released by the company that does not include support for ray tracing and image rescaling.

Very focused on fans who want to play in 1080p and have a tight budget. It does not support Ray Tracing, something that has not become as popular as was foreseeable due to the brutal impact on performance. It also doesn’t support DLSS, which adds a performance bonus, but since ray tracing isn’t present either, well.

It was launched at the end of 2019 for approximately 300-450 euros. We can find some models below 250 euros, being a much better solution than an RX 6400. Some of the most interesting models are:
