New malware via TikTok
It’s about the viral challenge “Invisible Body”, which in Spanish we can translate as invisible body. Basically it is a filter that hides the body and shows a silhouette and this is combined with the background of the video to make it just that, an invisible body. One more joke from this social network to create funny videos.
What hackers do is take advantage of this new challenge to sneak malware. How do they do that? They offer a supposed tool to display the bodies of users. That is, so that the real video is seen before having applied this filter. But of course, what they really do is spread WASP malware. The bait is to publish a false video where they claim that they have used this tool and thus arouse the curiosity of those who want to remove the filter from any video.
As you can see, it is really a fraud. There is no such tool to remove filter from the “Invisible Body” challenge. They use a link to supposedly take the user to the page to download that tool. That link actually hosts the malware that you are going to download and install on your system. From there the hacker will be able to steal information.
