We have a new watch in the current scenario and it is one of those that make you turn your head. Huawei has presented its Watch Ultimatea model that stands out for offering a heart attack specification sheet and a design typical of the jeweler’s more exclusive. Yes, it sounds like we’re exaggerating but that’s because you haven’t met him yet. We tell you everything you need to know about him.
Huawei Watch Ultimate, high-level design and performance
We could say that we have a new need in the world of smart watches: that of “extreme” models but that at the same time preserve an attractive aesthetic, moving away from the all-rounders of yesteryear that opted for a rough and robust body to justify all their benefits.
Huawei’s Watch Ultimate is a clear example of this. This smart watch, with 1.5″ AMOLED screen and brightness of 1000 nits, offers more than 100 sports modes (18 of them professional) and boasts of having the Expedition function, specially designed for registration in outdoor activities, as well as being able to withstand immersions in water up to 100 meters deep. Hold up to 14 days without the need to charge with normal use (and about 7 days if given intense use) and comes with all the sensors you can imagine, including the one in charge of measuring your heart rate, doing electrocardiograms, measuring blood oxygen or monitor your rest
With such a display, you might be imagining that it is the typical rather “rough” watch with a sporty air, but nothing is further from the truth. As you will be seeing in the images, the Watch Ultra looks like the typical traditional dress watch, thanks to a timeless design with an elegant dial, round case and very attractive links as a bracelet.
It should be noted that despite the fact that it can therefore give a feeling of fragility, Liquid Metal has been introduced for the first time in this smartwatch, a zirconium alloy that it confers a high resistance to withstand all the activities for which it has been conceived and that it is usually used both in certain aviation elements and in the luxury watches.
A watch that is therefore interesting, which clearly looks at Apple’s Watch Ultra -although, for example, it does not have fall detection, a major flaw if we consider the environment in which people who wear this device are going to move-, and It is not intended for a very active and demanding public.
Compatible with both iOS and Android, it has an operating system HarmonyOS and it integrates NFC, although it can only be used to pay in certain countries -we don’t know if Spain is one of them.
Price and availability
The Huawei Watch Ultimate can be purchased at colors blue (Voyage Blue) and black (expedition Black) although its price at the moment is a mystery. Even so, do not expect anything cheap: taking into account its air to Apple Watch Ultra, we should be thinking of costs of around 900 euros. We will see if we are wrong or not.
Regarding its availability, we don’t know the release date yet. Don’t worry, we’ll let you know as soon as we find out.
