What is Call of Duty DMZ mode? All you have to know

DMZ, resist and loot everything you can

DMZ Warzone Call of Duty

Those who have played The Dark Zone in The Division They will know exactly what we are talking about. In DMZ we will enter a sandbox specially designed to have a bad time. Here we will find many enemies controlled by the AI as well as other players from all over the world who will go directly against us.

all the action will unfold on the Al Mazrah map (the same as Warzone 2.0), and your mission is none other than to loot caches and get out of there alive. The more things you manage to extract, the bigger your inventory will be, and thus you will be able to collect money and complete missions that can give you very tasty items that you can then use in the multiplayer of Modern Warzone II and Warzone 2.0.

How to play?

war zone 2.0

In DMZ we will play in 3 player teams, although you can play alone or in pairs if you decide to disable the option to fill squad. To advance in the game you must accept faction questsbeing three the factions that exist:

  • Legion
  • white lotus
  • Black Mous

Legion will be the first and only faction available, and as we complete missions we will unlock new challenges and faction missions. This way we will get more and more important rewards. To begin with, you will have to infiltrate with your team choosing smuggled or secured weapons, although there will be times when the mission requires stealth and we go without weapons, or there will even be supply missions in which we only have to leave weapons at a specific point so that in a future infiltration we have them there prepared.

How does the inventory work?

war zone 2.0

In you first game in DMZ you will receive smuggled weapons of many kinds. You will have to select what weaponry you want to take to the battlefield and survive with it. If you lose the weapons, you will lose them forever, and if you steal weapons from someone down, you can take them to your inventory as a smuggled weapon.

Within the inventory itself we can secure weapons so that they always reappear, and we can even get new ones secured weapon slots if we complete missions and level up in the Factions. The problem is that, if you lose secured weapons, they will not reappear until a certain time has passed, but we can speed up this time by exchanging money that we have obtained.

A backpack with limited space

In DMZ we will find many useful resources as we go through the map, but no matter how many we find, we will not be able to store all of them. Our backpack has a limit, so if at any time you are forced to get rid of something, you should know that there are 6 locations on the map where you can store items to extract them in future games.

It is something like a safe locker where you can recover those objects that you left in later games.

Remember that both Warzone 2.0 and DMZ mode will be available next November 16being able to pre-download them from today.
