WhatsApp will ask you for your password more often, but it’s for a good reason

According to the WABeta Info site, Meta has deployed a new feature on the Android and iOS mobile version of Whatsapp that “allows users to check if the password of their end-to-end encrypted backups is correct, so that they can replace in case of incorrect match”.

The functionality of built-in password reminder is already accessible to users who have downloaded and installed the latest version of whatsapp on your smartphone, namely version 23.9.77 for iOS and version 2.23.9.74 on Android.
