A teacher who had sex with one of his 13-year-old primary school students in Arizona, United States, it was sentenced to 20 years in prison and now he exercises his profession by teaching classes to other inmates inside the jail.
30-year-old Brittany Zamora was appointed as a tutor at the Arizona State Prison Complex in Perryville and has always been in groups supervised by authorities. Teacher teaches educational staff to teach classes to inmates.
“She was directly supervised while working at all times by educational instructors, and the classrooms are checked and monitored routinely by security personnel, ”said the Arizona Department of Corrections (DCA).
The teacher was accused of abusing a 13-year-old boy
According to DCA, the teacher applied for the job assignment after being sentenced to 20 years in jail after being accused of sexually abusing a 13-year-old boy who was one of her elementary school students.
In March 2018, Brittany Zamora was arrested when her relationship with the minor was discovered. The teacher was 27 at the time and married. According to the victim’s statement, she had several times sexual relations with her teacher inside her car and in the classroom.
In July 2019 Brittany was sentenced and in May 2020 she filed for divorce from her husband with whom she had been married for four years.
Inside the prison, the former teacher has worked in various activities to help inmates, from a kitchen helper to being assigned to the jail’s program area.
