Warner Bros has released a short trailer video on its YouTube channel, detailing the DC Comics stamped productions that will see the light of day in 2022.
In 2022, the world needs heroes. It is on this particularly catchy phrase that Warner published this weekend the program of DC Comics films for the coming year. If Marvel has long been at the top of the box office, its historical rival seems determined to take revenge, with no less than four feature films announced on the sidelines of the MCU Super Bowl trailers.
The Batman, and after?
Unsurprisingly, the first DC movie of the year will be The Batman. Camped by Robert Pattinson, this new film featuring the dark knight will be independent of the rest of the franchise, and already promises to be a slap. Directed by Matt Reeves, many already see in him the succession of the brilliant Joker by Toad Philipps, released in 2019. Expected for the March 2 next, The Batman put in pictures Bruce Wayne’s early years as a vigilante. The film will also be an opportunity to discover Zoë Kravitz in the role of Selina Kyle (Catwoman), and Paul Dano in that of the Riddler.
After Gotham City, Warner should then make us travel to Philadelphia. Later in the year, superhero fans can also discover The Flashexpected for the November 2 next, and starring Ezra Miller in the title role. Two never-before-seen footage of Jason Momoa in his new Aquaman costume were also included, pending the release of The Lost Kingdomthe second part of the franchise expected for the month of December.
