The AirPods Max are headphones that, of course, have not left anyone indifferent, both due to their design, their characteristics and, above all, their price. They went on sale in 2020, however, a server bought them just a year ago, in January 2021, so in this post you are going to allow me to tell you about my experience with them.
Positive points
Let’s start by talking about the good news, that despite the fact that AirPods Max are always involved in a kind of controversy, they have many points to highlight. First of all, we must talk about the Noise Cancellationsince it is surely the aspect that can be discussed the least about these headphones, and that is that the AirPods Max still have one of the best noise cancellations on the market today along with that of the Sony WH1000XM5.

In addition, and this is something personal, they are really comfortable, since despite the fact that due to their construction materials, which are completely premium, they weigh much more than the competition, the weight distribution thanks to the headband is quite good, being very pleasant and comfortable to use during long work days. Finally, it is also worth noting the ambient modewhich can be key for those who want to use these headphones in teamwork environments, since with a single touch they will be able to perfectly hear everything that happens around them.
Bad points
If the AirPods Max have had so much controversy around them, it will be for a reason, and it is that how could it be otherwise, it is not a perfect product at all. The first thing that catches your eye is its sheathor case, whatever you want to call it, and it is really a nuisance on a day-to-day basis, not because of the functionality it has, which in the end is necessary, since it allows the headphones to be put into that battery saving mode, but because another One of the functions that it should provide is to protect them, something that obviously they do not do.
Before we mentioned sound quality as a strong point, well, this is also a negative point, since Apple has different playback modes in Apple Music that allow the user to be able to get to have a great audio fidelity. Well, AirPods Max are not compatible with these modes, so a great advantage of Apple Music cannot be taken advantage of with Apple’s top-of-the-range headphones, something really incomprehensible.
Finally, the big negative point that the AirPods Max have is their pricesince Apple sells them for nothing more and nothing less than 629 euro. Taking into account that its competitors have a much lower price and that the only extra they really offer is the design and its construction materials, it causes many potential AirPods Max users to bet on other options beforehand.

In January 2021 Amazon will rebate these headphones to 400 euro, which was the moment in which I acquired them. A much lower price, which is not low, and which really put the AirPods Max on a par with the rest of the headphones with which it competes.
The reality is that I have not regretted a second of your purchase, and it is that despite the fact that as we have commented they are not perfect, the user experience they offer is fantastic, not only because of all the positive points that we have mentioned, but because for a user who works with an Apple ecosystemthe plus of connectivity With all the gear the AirPods Max give you is the icing on the cake. Therefore, my final conclusion is that, for 400 euros, it is a purchase, from my point of view, very successful, however, if I had to pay 629 euros for them, I would opt for other cheaper options on the market.
