Daredevil: Kevin Feige confirms Charlie Cox’s return as Matt Murdock

The first Monday of December suddenly gives us a sensational news, with the official confirmation that Charlie Cox will interpret Matt Murdock / Daredevil also in the MCU.

The bomb came straight from the Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige who, during an interview with CinemaBlend, uttered the magical words that all fans of the live action version of the Hell’s Kitchen Devil wanted to hear.

Kevin Feige confirms: Carlie Cox is our Daredevil

Speaking of the possible casting for the character within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, given the cancellation of the Netflix TV series following the definitive transfer of the rights to Disney, the good Kevin surprised everyone by indicating Cox as the only possible interpreter of Devil:

If you were to see Daredevil in one of our upcoming projects yes, Charlie Cox would be the actor who would play the character.

Where we will see it, how we will see it, when we will see it is still to be defined.

Obviously the Marvel Studios president hasn’t revealed any other information regarding the return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock and Daredevil, but the possibility that this could happen sooner than one might imagine is really more than a mere suspicion.

The most immediate, logical and at the same time fascinating hypothesis is that Devil could make his debut in the MCU in Spider-Man: No Way Home given the legal problems that Peter Parker (Tom Holland) will face in the third film dedicated to the MCU Wall Climbing. However, if this does not happen, the upcoming serial productions of Marvel Studios – such as She-Hulk – would still represent a possible perfect opportunity to be able to see the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen again.
