Five Summer Game Fest games you missed

The lights of the Summer Game Fest 2023 will go out very soon, although there are still some conferences to enjoy, such as the one by Ubisoft today at 7:00 p.m. in Spain. But the truth is that, looking back at everything we have experienced in recent days, it is fair that we remember some developments which seems to have passed with more pain than glory but which are also VERY interesting. Do you know what they are?

In fact, we are referring to games that were all shown at the PC Gaming Show that took place yesterday Sunday afternoon, after concluding the Microsoft and Xbox special and the subsequent one focused only on Starfield. It was thanks to the legendary PC Gamer magazine – now only on the web – that we got to know first-hand how the market is going. gaming for computers that, remember, is one of the most moving globally.

News and illustrious names

That is why We bring you five games that could be seen in that special of releases for PC, although some already offered a few things at the Sumer Game Fest 2023 gala itself last Thursday. Do you know what they are? Here are the ones we have selected for you.

frostpunk 2

The continuation of the extraordinary strategy game frostpunk appeared only to tell us the year in which it will be released, which will be in 2024. Little else is known about a game that will make the leap to manage the city, to keep it at bay of revolutions and riots. Let’s hope it’s still as great as the original title.

Warhaven

For Honor, from Ubisoft, is still active with a fairly dedicated community. Well then, Warhaven seems to be going in the same direction with a team multiplayer where we have to conquer, or defend, a square from the siege of enemy troops. And not because it is very similar to the title of the French does it stop being interesting.

Pax Dei

Inspired by real legends from the Middle Ages, this Pax Dei hides an MMORPG where we can forge a legend as heroes of a world in which swords rule more than we would like. A title that points to ways and that remains to be seen if it can gain a foothold within a genre where we have hundreds of alternatives available to try.

Path of Exile 2

The second part of Path of Exile has taken a rather abrupt turn of the screw towards ARPG-style Devil. Gone are those approaches rolers from the original game and leads to a world that seems to be taken from the Blizzard franchise. Don’t you think it’s too shameless an evolution?

Lords of the Fallen

This game, about which we have been hearing news for (many) years, seems to finally has a release date or, at least, a fairly close window to which to hold As you know, we are facing a souls like with enemies that, if they hit you, will send you to the other neighborhood. Or as the presenter of that PC Gaming Show 2023 said yesterday, “if you fail, he punishes you” with death. Something very similar to the FromSoftware developments that have become so fashionable among gamers. Or is it not your case?
