GIGABYTE prepares a low-profile GeForce RTX 4060 with three fans

Low-profile graphics cards have a very compact size, and thanks to this they can be easily integrated into really small computers, although this usually has a downside, which is that its power is usually not too high. GIGABYTE is set to change this by launching its own low-profile GeForce RTX 4060, a graphics card that actually looks very interesting.

As we can see in the attached images, the low profile GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4060 will occupy two expansion slotsbut will have a very restrained height and length. We don’t know the exact measurements yet, but it seems that it will exceed the mini-ITX format a bit in length. This is due to the inclusion of a cooling system of three small fans, which are mounted on an aluminum finned radiator that contacts the GPU.

The GeForce RTX 4060 has a 115 watt TGPso that cooling system should be left over to keep the working temperatures of this graphics card under control. This GIGABYTE model will have an additional 8-pin power connector, and on the back we can see two DisplayPort 1.4a connectors and two HDMI 2.1 outputs.

In terms of power, the GeForce RTX 4060 it is plenty in 1080p and it handles very well at 1440p, so this low-profile model will allow you to mount very small teams without having to give up high graphics power. Also note that this model uses 3rd generation RT cores and 4th generation tensor cores, and also comes with a next generation Optical Flow Accelerator, which means it supports DLSS 3.

What does this mean in practice? Well, this graphics card you can move Cyberpunk 2077 in 1080p with maximum qualityreflections in crazy and ray tracing in crazy maintaining an average of 88 FPS thanks to DLSS Super Resolution set to quality mode and frame generation (DLSS 3).

We still do not know the release date and we do not know the price of this model, but we imagine that it will be more or less at the same level as the NVIDIA recommended price, which, I remind you, is 335 euroalthough we are already seeing models with simpler designs and modest qualities, although sufficient, at lower prices.
