Google gives a first preview of Google I/O 2023

Although Google I/O 2023 is still around two months away (if the search engine company keeps it in the range of dates in which it has taken place in previous years), technology has already accustomed us to advancing data on it based on puzzle-type games that, being completed, they give us information about the exact dates on which it will take place. It is certainly a nice tradition that, over time, has been gaining traction and popularity.

Thus, one more year we find that the company has already enabled a page for the event and in it, for the moment, what we will find is a game that, as is also tradition, does not have indications on what we must do to solve it, which makes it even more complex. However, we can be sure that it will not take long for us to hear from the first person who has solved it and, therefore, has revealed the dates on which Google I / O 2023 will take place.

The game begins with the Google Chrome dinosaur running across the screen and then a grid of circles is displayed along with six individual puzzles to choose from on the left hand side that are made up of 0’s and 1’s. Google says to get started you need “create a pattern of inputs to generate the collective output«. Instead of starting it yourself, you can select to watch, where it says: “Many inputs are needed to complete the final result. Watch progress and invite others to join«.

Thus, we are a few hours away from knowing the dates on which Google I/O 2023 will be held, although it will still take a little longer to know, officially, what will star in it. I say officially because yes we can count on two sure protagonists of it: Android 14 and artificial intelligencemost likely related to Bard, unless the search engine company decides to step on the gas, in response to Microsoft, opening the beta of it sometime in March or April.

Also, and at that point, a reply to the new Bing would no longer be enough. We have already seen how Internet search engines and web browsers have begun to add functions based on AI or are planning to do so in the short term. It is still too early to say which technology has won the artificial intelligence war, but it is clear that either Google moves quickly in this regard, or Microsoft will manage to gain even more distance.
