A murder outrageous to the United Kingdom. And is that Thomas Nutt, 45, was arrested after his wife’s body, Dawn Walker, 52, was discovered at home in a suitcase in West Yorkshire. The subject murdered her shortly after they were married.
Thomas is believed to have committed the crime between October 27, the day they were married, and October 31, Halloween, the day his body was discovered.. Abigail langford, Nutt’s lawyer assured that her client acknowledges having committed the crime, but maintained that he claims that he did not intend to kill her or cause her really serious harm.
Langford said Nutt is willing to be evaluated by a psychiatrist due to the circumstances and antecedents of the case. However, he will not have his trial until July 25, 2022, although Nutt will appear in court on February 10 for a hearing.
The victim’s family wrote on social media: her family has said: “We wrote this with a broken heart; we lost a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend in circumstances beyond our control, she was taken from us so suddenly.”
He will be in preventive detention
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: ‘It has been put in preventive prison to appear in Bradford Magistrates Court. The Major Investigation and Homicide Team continues to investigate this matter. “
Friends and family placed flowers and tributes at her home and at the site where her body was discovered. Nutt and Walker were married on October 27 after dating for two years and the motive for the homicide could not be established, so the uniformed men will continue with the investigations.
