This is the name of the new form of refrigeration from the Silverstone company. Its goal is to achieve better efficiency in computer components, where other brands and products could not.
This would have up to 7 fans working at the same time, managing to lower the temperature of all the components, both hard drives and the graphics itself. Something that would improve the general performance of our computer.
The design can seem quite unattractive, even horrible to some, however, no one had done this before, and in the end, what matters to us is that it fulfills its function even if aesthetically it is not the best. And that, it does, and very well.
Until now, only Asus had bothered to try something similar, bringing a fan under the plate, thus making it cool better, something that at the moment no one except them had either. However, Silverstone takes it 7 steps further with this new product.
the system is self-modeling, you can put the fans that you consider necessary as well as their position. You can move and adjust them so that they directly face the points where you have the components you want to cool. Of course, the maximum is seven, although we believe that it is more than enough.
Its possibilities are endless, and now how you direct it depends on your needs, however it is a very useful product for many people, since until now being able to direct the fans to the necessary point was a more complicated and less efficient task.
In turn, the company offers us several sizes of both fan and radiator, in case our tower or equipment is larger or smaller than usual or we simply do not have much space to add more things. Something that is appreciated. Would 4 sizes: 240 mm, 280 mm, 360 mm and 420 mm, and of course, they come with their corresponding ARGB lights, to make this “octopus” more attractive.
Its release date is unknown, and its price too. Let’s hope that it won’t take long to arrive and we can test it first hand, as well as the cost, which although we anticipate that it will not be very cheap, we also hope that it will not be excessively expensive, since in the end, they are nothing more than fans with lights oriented in a rather funny way. Even, given the idea, a homemade one could be made in a similar way.
For now we have to wait, and nobody copy them, since this can be the easy and low cost alternative to liquid cooling, especially if we don’t want problems or need a NASA cooling. So give Silverstone a go, put it on sale now, we want to see how it really works.
