Laura Pérez is the new country manager of the Italian WEROAD, in Spain

WEROAD has appointed Laura Perez new Country Manager in Spain, becoming the person who will lead the company’s strategy in our country. One of Laura’s objectives for this new stage is to strengthen the company’s position at a national level, becoming the benchmark player in the adventure travel sector for Spanish millennials.

WEROAD arrived in Spain in 2020, just before the pandemic, and since then it has multiplied its team by three, in the last year, getting more than 3,000 travelers, with a revenue of +3.5 million euros in our country. Born in Milan in 2017, the company currently has hubs in Milan, Madrid, London, Berlin and Paris and plans a major entry into the DACH, Benelux and Nordic countries.

With a MBA in Tourism at the Instituto de EmpresaLaura has a long history in the travel sector and notable expertise in strategic growth around Product Innovation, Sales, Business Development, Marketing and Analytics, highlighting her experience as a manager at Expedia in LATAM and at Viajes El Corte Inglés. in Spain and his international background having worked 8 years in Italy for different online travel agencies.

Laura was part of the management committee of Viajes El Corte Inglés during the period of Jesús Nuño de la Rosa and in the last period, with the new board of directors, she was part of the transformation and Business Intelligence plan of the new group in the integration process with logitravel.
