MatchGPT: smart tool for closing deals between startups and corporations

Finnovating has presented its solution MatchGPTan AI-based tool in GPT language for closing agreements and B2B collaborations between corporations and companies that develop technological innovations.

This disruption constitutes the first AI for business matchmaking in the Fintech industry worldwide. With over 20 million interactions among 100,000 tech companies in over 125 countries, MatchGPT promises to accelerate collaborations and B2B business to drive technology and innovation.

The solution, mainly focused on corporations, startups, scaleups and technological partners, combines a mixed use of the OpenAI API, with ChatGPT and proprietary algorithms developed by Finnovating.

Solution for a challenge of technology companies

With B2B companies spending around 10% of their annual income on business development and 4% in IT solutions, falling returns on advertisement and investment ratios are becoming a considerable concern for many companies. To address this problem, Finnovating launched the first B2B Matching platform 18 months ago, with the aim of facilitating business and innovation between corporations and technology startups.

Key differences between MatchGPT and ChatGPT

Despite the fact that both technologies are trained to hold conversations through a chat, MatchGPT has an intelligent assistant that allows companies to match and connect to do business, beyond accessing information generated by AI through dialogue. This is possible thanks to the DATA generated by Finnovating for years, which makes it possible to generate exclusive data on trends and the behavior of companies.

Rodrigo GarcĂa de la Cruz, CEO and founder of Finnovating, emphasizes the differences between MatchGPT and ChatGPT, clarifying that MatchGPT was not developed from GPT-3.5 or GPT-4. The main differences include:

  • Approach: MatchGPT is designed to facilitate the connection and interaction between B2B companies, emphasizing companies interested in technology and innovation; it is also used by governments to attract and collaborate with technology communities around the world. ChatGPT, however, is a B2C solution for a broader and more homogeneous user base.
  • Aim: MatchGPT serves as a smart assistant to connect and facilitate transactions, effectively bridging the gap between businesses around the world. ChatGPT, on the other hand, works primarily as a conversational chatbot without specific connection, matchmaking and transaction features. To do this, after each result, technology companies can access and connect with companies or apply to their opportunities for collaboration and innovation.
  • Training: MatchGPT is based on exclusive and transactional data collected from Finnovating’s platform, which has more than 20 million interactions between 100,000 technology companies from more than 125 countries. In contrast, ChatGPT relies on more generic information pulled from the web.
  • Custom results: MatchGPT offers personalized results to registered users of the Finnovating Platform, which aims to generate connections and business with the right client or partner, while ChatGPT provides identical answers to all users, regardless of their context and experiences.
