The Pixel 7 continue to be talked about on the Internet. Several months before the official presentation, OnLeaks, a famous French leaker, published renderings revealing the design of Google’s future flagships. As in 2021, the Mountain View brand will offer its high-end offer in two models: a standard Pixel 7 and a Pixel 7 Proeven more premium.

For the time being, the technical sheet of smartphones is an unknown. It is expected that Google is content with minor improvements on this generation. Last year, the Pixel 6 had indeed introduced many new features, such as the 120 Hz screen, a Tensor SoC designed by Google, and a camera whose hardware has been beefed up. Informants expect Google to resume roughly the same recipe this year.

An unchanged camera for the Pixel 7

According to information from Yogesh Brar, a renowned leaker, the Mountain View giant should also recycle the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro camera on its new flagships. “We will most likely see the same optics on the Pixel 7/7 Pro as on the Pixel 6/6 Pro”assures Yogesh Brar on his Twitter account.

On the standard Pixel 7, we should therefore find a dual photo sensor consisting of a 50-megapixel main lens and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module. For its part, the Pixel 7 Pro would inherit a triple photo sensor with 50 megapixel lens, a 12 megapixel ultra wide angle and a 48 megapixel telefoto module.

Nevertheless, Google should still make some improvements in the field of photography. “The sensors could see some optimization, the rest of the magic will be done by the software”, predicts the informant. As often, the brand will mainly rely on its algorithms to offer new products.

The latest news, the new flagships of Google should also inherit the same screen as their predecessors. The brand would have simply reduced the size of that of the Pixel 7. As a reminder, the range is not expected before the fall of 2022.
