The fact is that it has been precisely in that retailer where the price of the Radeon RX 7900 XT has fallen below the recommended level. Its official price is 1,049 euros, but this store has been selling units of the Sapphire assembly machine for 999 euro. This represents a reduction of 50 euros on the official price, it is not a very large number, but it represents savings and this is always good.
We might think that this drop in price is due to a simple correction due to the recovery of the euro against the dollar, and this is normal, since it makes sense, but this argument falls by its own weight when we see that the price of the Radeon RX 7900 XTX is still inflated, and that it is well above the recommended level (1,149 euros). It is impossible to find a unit at that price on the market, and on top of that there is little stock, which has caused prices to skyrocket to 1,700 euros.
All in all, let me tell you in advance that it has been impossible for me to find a unit of the Radeon RX 7900 XTX in stock, and that the Radeon RX 7900 XT has, however, a good level of stock. If we connect the dots, I think the conclusion we can draw is very simple, and it is that it seems that The first has been much more successful than the second.something that is understandable considering the difference in performance that it offers for only 100 euros (following the recommended prices).
This price drop may gradually spread to other markets, and in the end we will end up seeing the Radeon RX 7900 XT in Spain for less than 1,000 euros. However, it is important to keep in mind that in the end everything will depend on the stock and the demand for said graphics card. At the moment the demand is low, so we should not expect stock problems.
Before finishing I remind you that, according to the latest information we have seen, NVIDIA plans to launch the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti in the first week of January 2023, and that this graphics card will directly compete with the Radeon RX 7900 XT, both in performance and price.
