It seems certain that Ezra and Thrawn will have the faces of Mena Massoud and Lars Mikkelsen
For months there have been rumors about the possible casting of the actors who will play Ezra Bridger and the Grand Admiral Thrawn in live action and it seems that now the epic has come to an end.
According to a report by Latino Review, the two roles will be entrusted to Mena Massoud (Aladdin) e Lars Mikkelsen (The Witcher), which will carry the characters seen in Rebels in the new Disney Plus shows.
If many hoped that it was Massoud to take the role of Ezra, that of Thrawn is just a confirmation, having Mikkelsen voiced the character already in the animated series Star Wars Rebels. For all the fans who are passionate about the character in the original language it will be doubly good to see him now in the flesh.
The series The Mandalorian kicked off this casting, after Ahsoka plans to hunt down Thrawn and find Ezra. In fact, in the last episode of Rebels, the two characters had disappeared into hyperspace aboard Thrawn’s Star Destroyer, leaving their fate in suspense.
Ezra and Thrawn may have their own show in the future, but the live action debut will likely come with the Ahsoka series, coming to Disney Plus next year.
