The Eliminator: Eraser, one of the worst films with Arnold Schwarzenegger, will have a reboot

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 1996 action movie, The Eliminator: Eraser, may have been indigestible to critics and audiences at the time, but is now preparing to have a reboot.

The new film is titled Eraser: Reborn and was played by the actor of Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments And Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, the star Dominic Sherwood. And if I’m not talking about the future it’s because, in reality, the reboot film was already shot last summer in great secrecy.

The Eliminator: Eraser already has a reboot titled Eraser: Reborn

The film follows the events of the US Marshall Mason Pollard, specializing in the fake deaths of witnesses who must leave no trace of their existence for… well, obvious reasons. The cast also includes Jacky Lai (V-Wars), McKinley Belcher III (Ozark) and Eddie Ramos (Animal Kingdom) and was directed by John Pogue (Deep Blue Sea 3).

Eraser: Reborn is now in post-production and was made for Warner Bros Home Entertainment (but it looks like not for HBO Max), with a likely release date set for spring 2022.

The producers of the project are the producer of The Last of the Mohicans and The Hand of the Knight, Hunt Lowry and Patty Reed.

I don’t have many memories of Eraser and I don’t know if this is good or bad news for the Schwarzenegger movie. Tell us yours with a comment below!
