The first public beta of macOS Sonoma has been released

Apple just released a scant hour ago the first public beta version of macOS Sonoma, the next update to macOS Ventura for supported Macs. That means if you want to try out upcoming software for Macs, you no longer need to have a developer account.

The public beta versions of Apple software are still updates in the testing phase, but reliable and robust enough so that they can be tested by any user, without the need for an official Apple developer account.
