The developers at Among Us are finally showing us the plans they have for the game in a full roadmap for 2022.
6 months ago, Innersloth unveiled its roadmap for the year 2021, or at least what was left of it, for its game Among Us. On the program, we had the release of the fourth map, new cosmetic elements for visors and skins, and the possibility of playing with up to 15 players. All this has been given to us, so it is high time to move on. In its roadmap for 2022, Innerlosth reveals some interesting surprises, and updates us on plans that have not yet been realized.
For now, the studio must first clear the slate of optimization concerns before it can move on to serious (and more fun) things. Innersloth therefore states that its ” main priorities at the moment are the friends list and improving the quality of life “. This requires an improvement in the user experience (UX) especially with regard to chat, Cosmicubes or even account creation.
A first collab with a film
Once this is done, the studio can once again focus on its in-game and out-of-game projects. First of all, it presents the Nendoroids Among Us, small figurines made in collaboration with Good Smile Company. These are already available for pre-order on the manufacturer’s website and exist in several colors.
The studio will soon integrate its first crossover with a cinematographic work, with a mask bearing the image of Scream, currently in theaters. For the moment, we do not yet have a release date for this accessory. However, other collaborations are also on the way and, althoughAmong Us is not the king of crossovers, it is still an aspect that could attract many players.
The fifth map is coming soon!
On the side of the plans still in progress, Innersloth explains that the fifth map as well as the Hide ‘n seek mode are still relevant and should therefore not delay any longer. However, we do not learn more about them, especially with regard to the environment of the next map. As a reminder, the fourth took you directly into the air thanks to an airship.
At the end of its press release, Innersloth also teases us with the arrival ofAmong Us in the virtual reality sphere, with news about it coming soon. If you want to test Among Us, know that in addition to being available on PC, Nintendo Switch and mobiles, the game is available on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and has also recently been available in a physical edition.
