Imagine being able to always have your wheel and pedal setup available to play Gran Turismo right away. That is more or less what the CoffeeRacer proposes, since it is a small table that hides a folding structure inside that allows you to place a steering wheel and pedal configuration in a matter of seconds so that you can start playing.

At first glance it may seem like a coffee table to be placed next to the sofa in your living room, but in reality it is a secret compartment that will allow you to reconcile your family life with that of a young promise of virtual driving.

Robust, yet versatile

40 kilos of structure make it clear that we are dealing with a very solid body that should not have vibrations while we play. According to the product description, the CoffeeRacer is made in the Netherlands by a high-end furniture manufacturer, so the quality of the components is intuited to be good.

Depending on your needs, you can choose between three different models. On the one hand, there are the versions that imitate or can perform the functions of a piece of furniture, being able to choose between the Coffee Table version or support for plants (vertical type design). The other option is the one designed to be used in a game room where aesthetics do not matter too much, since it is a black box with wheels that you can easily move around.

What steering wheels can I use with this system?

The placement base will allow you to use practically any steering wheel on the market. The manufacturer has tested models like the Logitech G923, Thrustmaster T300, and several Fanatec models, so you can basically put anything on the base. In the event that the steering wheel is very deep due to the axis, you must remove it each time you want to fold and collect the skeleton of the CoffeeRacer.

The official price of the CoffeeRacer is €1,180 for the Living version (the one that imitates a table, and 588 euros for the Play version with the chassis of the structure. They can be purchased directly on the CoffeeRacer website.
