UnLimited Spain promotes social and environmental entrepreneurship at a national level

The UnLimited Spain Foundation has supported more than 100 entrepreneurs in recent years and has established itself as the great promoter of entrepreneurship with environmental and social impact in Spain. It also stands out for its survival rate of over 85%, a figure well above the average in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

One more year the foundation, which wants to change companies to change the world, is committed to working hand in hand with large organizations to support impact entrepreneurship in our country, raise awareness of the need to create more humane companies and achieve social impact and environmental impact that companies generate is as important as their profitability.

Commitment to real and measurable change

UnLimited Spain has reinforced its commitment to promote those projects that generate real social and environmental impact. Specifically, in the past year it has supported 16 projects in the sectors of health, art, sustainable food and the fight against climate change.

Within the UnLimited Spain programs, impact entrepreneurs receive technical tools so that their projects are economically sustainable, as well as a methodology so that they can accurately measure the positive impact generated by their projects on society and the planet. In addition, it places special emphasis on providing entrepreneurs with leadership skills so that their projects are resilient in the face of the challenges they are tackling.

For UnLimited Spain it is just as important to support emerging entrepreneurs so that their businesses focus on including social and environmental impact as it is to work with large companies that want to introduce impact into their strategies.

Some of the organizations that UnLimited Spain has worked with in 2022 are Lilly Spain, Naturgy, Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation, Robeco or Bank of America. Together with these organizations, he has worked with more than 70 corporate volunteers and has provided more than 392 hours of personalized training, advice and mentoring. In addition, awareness actions have been carried out for more than 350 employees, providing adaptive leadership skills, knowledge about the impact and innovation ecosystem.

These figures show the growing importance of business projects that generate social and environmental impact in organizations of all sizes.

A global movement to promote social projects

UnLimited Spain arises from the desire of the founders of support young spanish talent, the new entrepreneurs, who often find themselves without the means or opportunities to make their businesses a reality. Through the promotion of their projects and the provision of technical tools and interpersonal skills, projects can materialize and at the same time help society and the planet.

After many years looking for a model that would combine training in entrepreneurial skills and care for social and environmental impact, they found the initiative of UnLtd in the United Kingdom and imported the model to Spain. UnLtd is present globally in the UK, South Africa, India and Spain.

The parent company, based in the United Kingdom, has helped since its founding in 2002 to more than 20,000 social entrepreneurs. For every 100 projects UnLtd supports, an average of 46,000 people benefit and 2,000 jobs are created, and between 2017 and 2021 alone it has awarded more than £18 million to entrepreneurs.

We support entrepreneurs who are halfway between the traditional company and NGOs or associations.
