Belle, the anime of Mamoru Hosoda, arrives in Italy at the cinema with Anime Factory

Anime Factory, the label tag of Koch Media dedicated to animation, has acquired the distribution rights of Beautiful (Ryū to Sobakasu no Hime – The princess of dragons and freckles), the new feature film by Mamoru Hosoda (The girl who leapt through time, Wolf children, Mirai).

The news came with a post on Anime Factory’s social channels, announcing that the anime will soon arrive in Italian cinemas in collaboration with I Wonder Pictures.

Previously Chizu study had revealed that the film would represent an “ever-changing online world”, also referring to the past works of Mamoru Hosoda, in which the virtual plays a key role in the story, as in Digimon Adventure: Children’s War Game and Summer Wars, titles through which the director wanted to explore, with his intuitions, the reality of modern society.

The film celebrates the tenth anniversary of Studio Chizu and always sees Hosoda as the author of the script.
