filming resumes this week

After several months off, due to the injury of Letitia Wright, the teams will return to the film sets this week. Black Panther 2 is finally on the right track.

The development of Black Panther 2 was tumultuous. After the death of the main actor chadwick Boseman, the teams were forced to revise their copy to pay homage to him while taking a new direction. But while filming was in full swing in Boston this summer, the injury of letitia Wright during an action scene to cause another production delay. The actress suffered a nasty shoulder injury and concussion.

Good news ! After several months of convalescence, at her home in London, letitia Wright is finally ready to return to the sets. The Hollywood Reporter announced that the teams would resume production this week, still in Boston.

In November 2022 at the cinema

Initially scheduled for next July, Black Panther : Wakanda forever will finally land on November 9 on our screens. A slight delay which is mainly explained by the importance that will shuri in the plot. She should thus become the main protagonist, and face new villains in the Wakanda.

Moreover, we still know very little about the path that the plot will take for this new part. However, several actors from previous games should be back. This will be the case with Martin Freeman who plays Everett K. Ross as well as Winston Duke in the skin of M’baku.

Behind the camera, too, we do not change a winning team since Ryan Coogler will be back to realization. The filmmaker, who had offered Marvel a first nomination for best picture at the Oscars, will also be writing the screenplay.
