The high-end formula of GeForce Now, Nvidia’s cloud gaming service, should become more accessible soon. According to our colleagues from the VideoCardz site, the RTX 3080 subscription will soon be available on a monthly basis. This option is added to the half-yearly subscription displayed at €99.99.
As you may know, Nvidia has been offering GeForce Now for several years now, a cloud gaming service that allows you to take advantage of a gaming configuration hosted on the manufacturer’s servers. With the GeForce Now, all the power needed to run the most demanding titles is therefore provided by Nvidia.
Until October 2021, the service offered only two formulas: a free version which gives access to a standard configuration, standard access and a game session of one hour maximum. The other formula, titled “Priority”, is offered at €49.99 per month. Here, you can claim an RTX certified configuration (equivalent to an RTX 2060), priority access to servers, 6-hour gaming sessions for 1080p resolution and 60 FPS.

The RTX 3080 GeForce Now offer soon cheaper?
However, since October 21, the GeForce Now has had a new premium formula “Maximum performance”. This offer is obviously the most attractive, since it offers a muscular configuration equipped with an RTX 3080, for a resolution that can go up to 1440p in 120 frames per second. In addition, it is possible to enjoy the service in HDR and 4K on Nvidia Shield TVs.
Only problem with this formula, its rather excessive price: €99.99 for six months. Unfortunately, Nvidia does not offer the possibility of opting for a monthly subscription, unlike the “Priority” formula. However, and according to our colleagues from the Videocardz site, this situation could soon change.
According to their information, Nvidia will finally offer a non-binding monthly plan for the RTX 3080 plan. However, no more details on the price of this offer. For comparison, the “Priority” subscription is displayed at €9.99 per month. We suspect that the prices of the RTX 3080 subscription should rather be around the 20 € per month. Either way, launching a monthly plan for the RTX 3080 will allow users to try out the best GeForce Now deal for 30 days, before eventually signing up for the long term.
