There are still a few days before the debut of Locke & Key 2 but, in the meantime, the second season of the TV series based on the graphic novel of the same name by Joe Hill (Stephen King’s son) e Gabriel Rodriguez spares no hype to all fans of the show’s Netflix.
The streaming giant has released a new official trailer of the TV series online that gives us many unpublished and clear scenes in front of Frederick Gideon, the new villain played by Kevin Durand.
Gideon, who will appear in both this season and in Locke & Key 3, he is described as “a charismatic, cunning yet ruthless English Civil War officer who becomes a formidable opponent for the Locke family.

Locke & Key 2 release date
The second season of Locke & Key will debut in the streaming catalog of the “N rossa” on 22 October 2021.
Based on the comic by Joe Hill, in Italy published by Magic Press, the series (of which you can read our review) tells the adventures of the three Locke brothers, Tyler interpreted by Connor Jessup (Falling Skies), Kinsey (Emilia Jones, at his first major role) e Bode (Jackson Robert Scott) who, together with the mother, Nina (Darby Stanchfield from Scandal) move to Massachusetts, in the house where their father, Rendell Locke, had grown up with his brother Duncan.
Synopsis of Locke and Key
After the death of the father of the Locke family, murdered under mysterious circumstances, the three brothers and their mother move to their ancient estate, Keyhouse.
Here they find a series of magical keys that could be linked to the death of their father.
As the Lockes study the different keys and their extraordinary powers, a mysterious demon awakens and will stop at nothing to steal them.
The series is a mystery coming-of-age story about love, the loss of loved ones, and the lasting bonds that define family.
The show’s executive producers are Aron Eli Coleite, Joe Hill And Chris Ryall with Lydia Antonini And Ted Adams for IDW. They are joined by them Andy And Barbara Muschietti, David Alpert, Rick Jacobs, Lindsey Springer, John Weber And Frank Syracuse.
The cast of Locke and Key sees the presence of Darby Stanchfield, Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones, Jackson Robert Scott, Laysla De Oliveira, Aaron Ashmore, Petrice Jones And Griffin Gluck.
