Microsoft and Telefónica Tech will offer confidential public cloud solutions for Public Administrations

Microsoft Y Telefonica Tech they have announced that will offer specific confidential hybrid cloud solutions to public administrations, as well as companies in regulated sectors. Both companies will focus on monitoring and encryption services, with the aim that these entities and companies can guarantee the security and privacy of the data with which they work in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Dynamics 365.

These solutions will give public organizations and companies operating in regulated environments the opportunity to access infrastructure services and cloud computing with special protection and security. In this way, they will be able to comply with all the approved provisions regarding data protection, as well as the recommendations provided by the EDPB (European Dara Protection Board).

The experience of both companies in providing the highest privacy and security guarantees is backed by numerous certifications. Thus, Microsoft has a high level certification of the National Security Scheme for Azure, Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365. In addition, it is committed by contract to legally oppose access to the data of its business customers or the public sector by any government.

On the other hand, the company has announced the launch of the initiative EU Data Boundary, with which your clients can store and process their personal data within the EU. This commitment is applicable to Azure, Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 cloud services.

As for Telefónica Tech, it will offer various advisory, implementation and operations services to entities and companies that contract the confidential hybrid cloud solutions that it provides with Microsoft. These services are designed to make it easier for these organizations to deploy maximum security cloud services, guaranteeing compliance with information privacy and regulatory compliance requirements, without neglecting the quality of service.

In addition, it will also offer other value-added services from its Cybersecurity Operations Center. Among them, the intelligent management of communications and infrastructures and the monitoring and management of threats. All to ensure that different institutions and organizations quickly and securely adopt various cloud services.

On the other hand, Telefónica Tech will offer specialized consulting services for the design, deployment and operation of Big Data platforms on Azure’s cloud capabilities. Defense-related institutions will also have specific solutions that combine Telefónica’s 5G solutions with Microsoft’s cloud services.

All the aforementioned services will be deployed and implemented in Microsoft’s cloud environments, and in a few months they will be complemented by the new cloud region that Microsoft is going to open in Spain in the coming months on Telefónica’s infrastructure.
