After Netflix, it’s Disney+’s turn to unveil its cards for the year 2023. The brand new streaming service has published the list of films and series that will join its catalog this year. Of course, we are talking here about original productions.
It’s been a little over a month since Paramount+ settled down in France. The new competitor on the streaming market already has some arguments against the giants of the sector, such as the entire catalog of production studios, to which are added the American TV channels MTV, CBS, Showtime and Nickelodeon. However, the platform does not intend to rest on its laurels and, like its congeners, will produce original content in 2023.
Just like Netflix, which published the list of original films to come to the platform this year last week, Paramount+ has therefore in turn taken part in the exercise. Unlike its No. 1 competitor, the service has instead focused on series production, as only two original films will be released in its catalog this year. Films and series joining the Paramount+ catalog in 2023
So let’s start with the series. Not all of them have an announced release date yet, but we can already tell you about Tulsa King. In this series, Sylvester Stallone plays Dwight Manfredi, boss of the New York mafia who, after 25 years in prison, is about to build a new empire of crime. For fans of musicals, a prequel to the cult Grease will also be on the program.
