The official website of modern remakes de The Space Battleship Yamato (Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato) released the first trailer for Space Battleship Yamato 2205: The New Voyage (Uchū Senkan Yamato 2205: Aratanaru Tabidachi – Zenshō -TAKE OFF-).
This is the first of two anime films in this sequel project, the story of which is set three years after the end of the war against the Comet Empire.

The video, visible below, focuses on the character of Abelt Dessler, the supreme leader of the Great Garmillas Empire.
As ANN reports, the first film of this duology will be released in Japan on October 8 and, as has already happened with the previous Star Blazers feature remakes, will debut simultaneously with a special edition on Blu-ray Disc immediately available for purchase. On November 26, another Blu-ray and DVD edition will arrive.

Uchū senkan Yamato (Space Battleship Yamato) is a 1974 cult sci-fi anime series created by Leiji Matsumoto and is known in Italy as Star Blazers.
In 2013 in Japan (in 2019 in Italy) he made his debut Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2199, remake of the first season of the classic series, as a derivation of a series of seven films screened in cinemas from 2012 to 2013.
TO Space Battleship Yamato 2199 followed Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2202, sequel also arrived first in Japanese cinemas with seven films between 2017 and 2019, to then be broadcast on TV as an anime series.
