The ASUS ROG ALLY with the Ryzen Z1 Extreme will be launched on the market from June 16

ASUS ROGALLY has been officially introduced as one of the strongest rivals the Steam Deck is going to have. The console (more like a mini-PC in the form of a hybrid console) from the Taiwanese giant will offer a lot of power at the hardware level, Windows compatibility and will kick off AMD’s Ryzen Z1 processors, but something remains up in the air as important as the price.

The most solid rumors at the time pointed to a price for the United States of 650 dollars, an amount that would rise by at least 100 when the ASUS ROG ALLY arrived in the Eurozone and was priced in euros. The German media Computer Base has managed to get hold of two screenshots of two different stores that operate or are represented in the same country: Mediamarkt and Saturn.

So much MediaMarkt Germany as Saturn they have removed their ASUS ROG ALLY listings from their eShops, but they weren’t quick enough to stop the spread of information. The price of the console in both stores was established at €799.99which falls within the expected rise when going from the United States to the Eurozone, since in the North American country the prices are without taxes.

The price for Germany does not necessarily have to be the same as for Spain, but in this case it indicates that it will be. In the worst case, the community space makes it very easy to import from the German country if the console is cheaper there than here. On the other hand, the release date has been officially scheduled for June 16, 2023.

The price of 799.99 euros that has been known corresponds to the higher variant of the console that uses the Ryzen Z1 Extreme processora more powerful model that includes by comparison two additional physical cores that provide a total of four more threads, 24MB of total cache compared to the 22 implemented by the base model and a graphics power that reaches 8.6 teraflops compared to 2 .8 which reaches the standard variant of the CPU.

For the United States market the prices are $599 for the variant of the ASUS ROG ALLY with the Ryzen Z1 processor standard and of $699 for the model with Ryzen Z1 Extreme. The rest of the characteristics, at least for what is known for now, it seems that they will be the same.

We recall that the ASUS ROG ALLY uses in its base configuration an AMD Ryzen Z1 processor, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 512GB of storage via PCIe SSD, a 40WHr battery that should provide a maximum autonomy of 8 hours and a 7-inch screen that works at a native resolution of 1080p and a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz.

At the expansion level, ROG XG MOBILE stands out, an external graphics card that can be up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090, and a slot that supports MicroSD UHS-II to expand storage.
