iMac Pro and new iMac with M3 chip
This is one of the news that many users were wanting to hear, and it is that when it seemed that the iMac Pro had disappeared from Apple’s plans, the great Mark Gurmann It has just confirmed the opposite, that this team is more alive than ever and that its launch will also take place, that is, it will not be anything soon. As all users expected, this iMac Pro would be a more powerful version of the iMacfocused on all those users who want a device of this type but with high performance, with ultra-professional specifications, maintaining the user target that this equipment has always had.
As Gurman has published in the Bloomberg “Power On” newsletterthe Cupertino company, without having yet launched the M2 chips, I would already be working on the M3. These new chips that Apple is already testing would be accompanied by two new equipment, the iMacProwhich we have just told you about, but also a new iMac, which seems to be then when it undergoes a renovation at the design level. However, these launches will not arrive in 2022, naturally, but they could be scheduled for the end of next year, that is, in a hypothetical event that the Cupertino company could be scheduled for November 2023.
What about the M2s?
I’m sure many of you are thinking that how could it be that the M2 chip hasn’t been presented yet and there is already talk of a hypothetical presentation of the M3 chip. Well, we also have news about this new Apple processor, although these confirm what we already knew so far, and that is that the Cupertino company is planning this launch by the end of 2022.
In addition, all the computers that Apple currently sells in its stores would be renewed in terms of processor, obviously each of them with its specific model, as is the case at the moment. In this way, the distribution would be as follows: M2 chip they would be reserved for a new MacBook Air, a basic MacBook Pro and a Mac mini. On the other hand, the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros would have the chips M2 Pro and M2 Maxthe Mac Studio would have the chips M2 Max and M2 Ultra and, finally, a hypothetical Mac Pro would be in charge of mounting the chip M2 Ultradual.
This, obviously, is nothing more than rumors that come out about the possible launches that the Cupertino company plans for the coming months, and even years. However, you have to take them with a grain of salt, since this is not official information, in addition to the fact that, even if it were true, Apple’s plans may vary depending on the market or the tests carried out on these devices.
