The shooting of the new live action film de The little Mermaid, after the outbreak of Covid-19 that had hit the production now located in Sardinia and, from the all-Italian set today some images of Halle Bailey in the role of Ariel.
Halle Bailey is Ariel on the Sardinian set of The Little Mermaid
On social media some images have begun to circulate in which it is possible to see the actress in the guise of Ariel and, more precisely, when she seems to arrive for the first time on the mainland (already transformed into human therefore).

With Halle Bailey, in the cast of the film are also present Melissa McCarthy in the shoes of the very bad Ursula, Jonah Hauer-King was chosen for the role of the prince Eric is Javier Bardem for that of King Triton.
Among the producers of the film, directed by Rob Marshall, figure Lin-Manuel Miranda, who we know will also compose the songs of the film (many of which will be taken from the original cartoon of the 90s) along with Alan Menken. Rob Marshall, Marc Platt is John DeLuca they will produce the film together with Miranda.
The release date of The Little Mermaid is set for 2022.
