Xiaomi Mi Band with Alexa and NFC
Through the official blog of the brand today we know that the new Mi Band 6 NFC It will soon arrive in Europe to offer the functions that have long been left by the wayside. While the Asian model was betting on including the brand’s XiaoAI assistant (with Chinese language), versions always arrived in Europe without any type of intelligent solution, also lacking the NFC function for contactless payments.
In the case of contactless payments, the problem has been solved by allying with MasterCard, thus finally obtaining the necessary platform to process payments. We do not know if only MasterCard cards will be accepted and not VISAs, but at least it is a first step to offer NFC payments.
The rest will remain the same
There will be no changes in everything that surrounds the Mi Band 6. The model will remain exactly the same, offering exercise monitoring, heart rate control, blood oxygen control (SpO2) and a 1.56-inch AMOLED screen with resolution of 486 x 152 pixels.
With this addition, the Mi Band reaches the most complete level within what can be asked of a smart bracelet, so it will be interesting to see what kind of innovation the manufacturer includes in the next versions. Will we soon see an inexpensive model with a curved OLED screen?
When can it be purchased?
This new model should arrive in the stores in the coming months, and its price will be 54.90 euros, an amount that significantly raises the original price of the smart bracelet, but offers a significant leap in functions compared to everything that previous generations had offered.
