Through the Steam page of the video game we have been able to know the requirements to be able to play Age of Empires IV, and as usual in all PC games we have two sets of technical requirements.
Regarding the minimum requirements we have as Minimum CPU the Intel Core i5-6300U, which is a CPU with two cores and four threads of execution. So any Intel or AMD CPU with more than two cores can run the game. Although from here we do not recommend it, since the game recommends a 6-core CPU. In general, the CPU specifications are modest if we consider that the number of simultaneous instances that run a strategy game.
If we already talk about the RAM we will need 8 GB RAM minimum, but because of the huge number of elements that are running at the same time 16 GB recommended, configuration that from here we recommend for all PC Gaming. Regarding hard drive storage, Age of Empires IV is going to occupy 50 GB in your storage unit whatever our PC.
If we go to the graphic section, far are the years in which the genre used rudimentary graphics and it is that although it can work with a Integrated Intel HD 520 GPU, but you are going to see it in all its graphical spectacularity if you make use of a dedicated card at the level of a NVIDIA GeForce 970 or better that at least have 4 GB of VRAM.
